As a member of the organization's executive management team, performance includes demonstration of the following accountabilities: leadership, communication, mentoring, empowerment, and resource management.
Key Responsibilities:- Serving as Chief Marketing Officer of the Company, provides leadership and definition in the areas of marketing strategy and management
- Develops the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve goals. Provides leadership and supports the design, development, and implementation of products and service lines
- Oversees and provides direction to market and competitor analysis. Provides leadership, direction, and management of the market research function
- Creates an institutional and system-wide marketing reporting function that can track, measure, and analyze performance
- Ensures all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives, and are an effective expenditure of resources. Provides input and support to the Company's leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations, and partnership arrangements
- Provides marketing skills and expertise to the Company by building, developing, and managing a marketing team capable of carrying out the necessary marketing strategies and tactics
- Participates fully in professional societies and activities related to the business and software industries in general and the marketing profession in particular
- International and domestic travel as required. Prepares presentations to explain the Company's current and future strategies along with other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred with a minimum of 20 years experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in enterprise content management, document imaging, and/or related industry with global responsibility
- Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research, planning/programs, and promotions/advertising
- Proven strategic experience marketing to multi-channel and direct sales distribution models
- Must work effectively with Senior-level executives and leaders and staff of affiliated enterprises
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals
This is a regular, full time position.
