Director/Vice President of Operations

Our continued success has created this immediate opportunity for a Director/Vice President of Operations to provide strategic and tactical operational leadership in support of eCopy's business objectives.

The Director/Vice President of Operations will be responsible for the development and implementation of short and long term strategies allowing eCopy to achieve competitive advantage and operational excellence through more efficient manufacturing means including supply chain optimization and logistics management. This position reports to the Senior Vice President WW Sales & COO and is based in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Principal Responsibilities:

Partnerships -

  • Develops, negotiates and manages supply agreements with strategic suppliers for both finished goods as well as strategic components.
  • Identify and create procedures and alternative suppliers of components and finished goods to mitigate the risk of supply interruption from unforeseen primary supplier issues or natural disasters.
  • Develops and maintains master forecast schedules for contract manufacturing partners and strategic components.
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with eCopy Customer Support Services.
  • Work closely with Product Management to improve and document new product handoff process to Manufacturing
    Operations.

Operations -

  • Transitions Company to deliver all software products through electronic software distribution and fulfillment.
  • Refines software licensing model as required within revenue recognition guidelines to better meet the requirements of enterprise customers and their refreshing MFP fleets.
  • Supports the development of budgets and COGs estimates for annual budgets and long range business models.
  • Designs, documents, and implements business processes related to forecasting, planning, and purchasing.
  • Recommends and participates in software selection, design and implementation to support above processes.
  • Develops requirements for new MRP system and works closely with IT on product selection and implementation.
  • Develops and maintains key performance indicators to report on and monitor processes.
  • Inventory control of finished goods inventories with contract manufacturing partners.
  • Inbound logistics for finished goods inventories including contract manufacturers.
  • Reverse logistics for product returns including process refinement, selection of reverse logistics handling points, implementation and operation of reverse logistics network.
  • As required makes visits to major customers, participates in cross-functional teams and interacts with international affiliates.
  • Maintains a safe and injury free environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Professional senior manager with a minimum of 15 years of end-to-end supply chain experience. Strong negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal/communication skills.
Demonstrated experience with worldwide global sourcing and supply chain management.
BS/BA in business, logistics, purchasing and/or engineering required, MBA preferred
