The Marketing Programs Manager is a high profile position that will contribute significantly to the company’s continued rapid growth and market success.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Programs Manager, this individual will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and managing marketing and marketing communications programs. While the primary focus of this position will be on marketing programs that improve the effectiveness of North American channel partners, the marketing programs manager will also be called on to plan and participate in non-channel marketing programs.

This individual is responsible for promoting the eCopy value proposition, and supporting go-to-market plans and programs with channel partners. In addition, this individual will:

  • Track, analyze and report on marketing program metrics of success and costs.
  • Manage outside experts and consultants as part of the effort to design and develop marketing programs.
  • Make course corrections to existing marketing programs to improve effectiveness.
  • Work very closely with sales management, business unit managers, product marketing, corporate marketing, strategic alliances, and channel operations teams when designing and implementing these programs.
  • Become a central collection point for information about channel marketing plans, programs and initiatives.

Principal Responsibilities: 

  • Designs, implements, and manages marketing programs that leverage channel partner readiness, needs, assets, and opportunities to promote the marketing and sale of eCopy products and services.
  • Works with product marketing managers to design test programs, to develop new content, and to ensure channel readiness for new product releases.
  • Meets regularly with channel partners’ senior marketing and sales representatives to identify joint marketing opportunities and to communicate the status and results of current and future marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Works closely with eCopy channel operations to provide channel intranet and newsletter content and develop editorial calendars and content requirements.
  • Works closely with eCopy software alliances group to identify opportunities for incorporating third party partner software and solutions into eCopy marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Communicates regularly with channel account management to communicate the status and results of current marketing programs, solicit their input, and incorporate it into marketing program planning.
  • Drives and coordinates event planning with eCopy cross-functional teams to develop ideas and manage events within the overall marketing plan.
  • Responsible for event planning, program development, vendor contracts negotiation, logistics, lead collection and tracking, staffing coordination, AV coordination, booth development, properties management, and budget management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with at least 3 years of experience in marketing program development and management at a technology company.
  • Experience working for technology companies selling through resellers or office equipment dealers is required.
  • Experience in new product introductions is required. Must demonstrate the ability to drive decisions and get closure on recommendations and issues.
  • Experience in developing, implementing and managing marketing programs focused on Information Technology managers/executives and Line of Business managers/executives that purchase software products is very highly desirable.
  • Baccalaureate degree in marketing is required.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communications (verbal, written) and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Must have strong computer skills and must be able to demonstrate expert ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe CS3 graphics suite.
  • Training in Pragmatic Marketing is desirable.
