Our continued success has created this immediate opening for Payroll Accountant who is responsible for responsible for managing the payroll and stock option processes on a global basis for a company with over 250 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

The Global Payroll Accountant is responsible for managing the payroll and stock option processes on a global basis for a company with over 250 employees. This job requires a high energy, results orientated individual. The Global Payroll Accountant reports to the Assistant Controller.

  • Manage and process multi state and international payrolls
  • Recognize and research payroll related matters
  • Research and respond to all payroll inquiries in a timely and professional, customer service orientated manner
  • Reconcile payroll related accounts
  • Prepare payroll related entries
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly payroll tax filings
  • Manage Stock Option Plans globally and process related transactions and agreements
  • Identify, define, recommend and implement business process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service
  • Manage, monitor, evaluate and improve internal controls for the payroll and stock option processes
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures related to payroll and stock option processing
  • Perform other accounting duties and special projects as necessary
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance
    • 3+ years of payroll processing experience, with preferably 1+ years of experience processing international payroll
    • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulatory and procedural requirements
    • Experience with ADP payroll and ADP “Employease” HRIS systems, preferred
    • Experience with stock option systems, preferably ComputerShare, and administration
    • Ability to operate with the highest degree of integrity, ensuring the confidentiality and proper use of sensitive information
    • Excellent personal and communications skills
    • Strong work ethic, positive attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
    • Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
