Our continued success has created this immediate opening for a Senior Database Marketing Manager who is responsible for developing and managing the end customer and lead prospecting databases for eCopy. This individual understands marketing data and will guide eCopy to acquire and utilize that data to drive awareness, preference, and purchase/
re-purchase of eCopy products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include developing and managing the end customer and lead prospecting databases, providing direct response marketing as well as e-marketing campaign management for eCopy. This position is responsible, with IT, for the quality and management of the end customer and prospect/lead data within our RightNow SFA/CRM application. This position is both an individual contributor (for subject matter expertise) and the supervisor of one Marketing Manager who is dedicated to the same goals and objectives. This individual also manages key vendor relationships with supporting business partners.
- Provides worldwide marketing leadership and subject matter expertise to the planning, development, and management of eCopy’s end customer and prospect lead database initiatives – continue looking for ways to make processes more efficient and more effective.
- Works closely with Sales and IT to understand how to best manage the database to meet the business needs – make recommendations for tool and process improvements as needed worldwide.
- Document process and system flows – own worldwide marketing lead flow and reporting.
- Design and manage marketing campaigns using eCopy’s CRM system, including direct response marketing and e-marketing programs – analyze campaign results to provide assessment of effectiveness and influence future strategies.
- Extensive travel (may include domestic and international)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Extensive experience with the development and use of marketing databases, data capture and recording/reporting requirements, and data quality standards.
- 8+ years of database and direct response marketing within or for high tech firms – minimum of 3 of those years must be on "client side” (within a corporate environment).
- Hands on experience with Siebel, SalesForce.com or other SFA/CRM software – experience with RightNow a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Proficiency with standard business software including MS Excel and MS Access.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing to critical deadlines and deliverables
Strong consulting and negotiating skills. - Entrepreneurial drive to build a program that will have a major impact on eCopy’s bottom line.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field (i.e. IT).
