Our continued success has created this immediate opening for a Senior Software Engineer. This is a software development position within the eCopy ShareScan Server Team.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Software Engineer on the ShareScan Server Team will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the released versions of the ShareScan Server modules, along with the following responsibilities:
- Resolving escalated customer issues related to:
ShareScan Manager
Image Processing
Administration Console - Resolving escalated customer issues related to the ShareScan Services:
Cost Recovery
Identifications Service
Common Access Card - Working closely with the ShareScan Client group to resolve issues related to Scanning and Image Processing
- Responsible for working with 3rd party vendors (Imaging and Services) as required
- Other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Requires a BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 4+ years of current software development experience in the Microsoft Windows Environment
- Must be knowledgeable in and have experience with the following technologies:
Proficiency with Microsoft Visual C++, COM, ATL, XML
Hands on experience with Active Directory
Hands on experience with C# a plus
Hands on experience with imaging formats (like TIFF, JPEG, PDF) and Image Processing - Good communication, interpersonal and documentation skills
