Helps Dealers Say “Yes” to Customer Requests for eCopy Implementation, Customization, and Training

eCopy Paper Connection Forum, Miami, Fla., May 15, 2007 – eCopy Inc., a leading provider of solutions that integrate paper documents into business software applications, today launched a professional services offering designed to help office equipment dealers (OEDs) provide customers with eCopy implementation, customization, and training services. The new offering, called eCopy Professional Services (ePS), provides OEDs with additional eCopy ShareScan® and eCopy DesktopTM expert resources to supplement their own capabilities.

ePS helps OEDs create long-term partnerships with customers by offering extended technology services that provide value beyond the original sale. Authorized OEDs in North America and Europe have access to a team of more than 30 ePS professionals in North America and Europe, which is led by Mark Roy, eCopy vice president of Customer Support Services.

“ePS gives OEDs the ability to say ‘yes’ when their customer asks for services that go beyond the standard offering,” Roy said. “When an OED provides customized software that addresses specific needs, it helps build additional confidence into the dealer - customer relationships by helping to meet specific business requirements for value-added services in an MFP and desktop document imaging environment.”

ePS services include the following:

Implementation – eCopy’s team of experts is available to assist customers with implementation from the simple to the most complex installations. ePS offers a quick and efficient process for incorporating document imaging technology into a network environment, freeing the dealer and customer to focus on other activities.

Customization – ePS engineers offer software customization services to provide features needed in specific work environments that are not currently available in eCopy software. eCopy will work directly with end customers’ software requirements and will help determine if customization is right for each individual situation.

Training – Online or in-person training from ePS accelerates customer adoption of new document imaging processes and technology. eCopy College offers a spectrum of training modules in an easy to use online format. Students can learn at their own pace or at a time that is more convenient in their schedule. If on-site customer training is preferred, ePS will work with customers to organize and conduct training on eCopy software.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing of ePS engagements are based on customer requirements and resources required. Projects start at $2,000, but it is not uncommon for complex engagements to exceed $100,000. ePS is available today.
