Advanced Learning Tool Provides Office Equipment Dealers with Expertise to Sell and Support eCopy
Nashua, N.H., July 18, 2006 — eCopy™ Inc., a leading provider of solutions that integrate paper documents into enterprise software applications, announced today the availability of interactive, online training. The narrated, modular training, called eCopy College, is designed to help office equipment dealers and other channel partners sell and support eCopy ShareScan®, eCopy ScanStation™, eCopy Desktop™, and Connectors.
eCopy College provides an automated learning tool that is designed to supplement eCopy instructor-led courses. With seven sales and 12 technical modules, eCopy College students can set their own learning pace while working from any Internet-enabled PC. This makes the learning modules readily available for review and refresher sessions at any convenient opportunity.
"eCopy provides unparalleled support for our partners who sell multifunction peripheral (MFP) document scanning and distribution software," said Vickie Malis, eCopy vice president of Marketing. "We have a team of more than 100 sales and technical support professionals working to support our channel partners in selling and supporting the best products in our industry. eCopy College is one more way that we are working to ensure the channel's success."
eCopy recommends the sales modules for all sales management and sales personnel, as well as pre-sales engineers, product specialists, and trainers. It will assist them in developing "solution selling" techniques, including how to perform discovery work in a customer environment and match their MFP or scanner products with eCopy products to provide integrated solutions. eCopy designed the technical track for installation specialists, support specialists, and those in sales who need more in depth, technical knowledge about the product. Modules in both tracks use colorful graphics and audio tracks to help deliver the lessons. Each module includes a self-correcting quiz to reinforce the major points.
Access to eCopy College is available on a per student subscription basis. Subscriptions start at $249 per student. For more information on eCopy College or for a free trial subscription, please email Diane Fawley.
