With the DigitalOne WebCoding Connector, hard copy medical records can be quickly converted into digital files at an MFP device for distribution to Medical Coders working remotely. Patient specific information and the receiving Coder Queue can be selected from the eCopy-enabled device by authorized users using this Connector. Scanning and submitting the patient chart, after selecting the required information, submits a copy of the chart to DigitalOne for storage. It also triggers the DigitalOne workflow engine to alert the “Coder”. Coders work from their respective queues in DigitalOne to access the chart. All chart access is secure and audited for HIPAA compliance purposes. DigitalOne can be deployed at customer site or can be hosted at the Itxtend data center.
