With the TRIM Connector for eCopy ShareScan, hard copy documents are quickly converted into digital files to be stored in TRIM's document content repositories. Document indexing information (such as type and format) and TRIM-specific attributes are input at the digital copier and can be sent directly to the specified location within TRIM for storage and retrieval by authorized TRIM users. TRIM users can now easily include paper documents in their digital workflows and supporting document lifecycle management processes.

This solution will provide the users with an interface to Tower Software's TRIM application from Canon MFDs. After authentication, the user will be provided with information from TRIM to enable them to categorize the document.

After successful categorization the document will then be checked directly into TRIM.

eCopy ShareScan can be accessed in 2 ways:

• via a MEAP application and the Canon MFD touch screen
• via a separate eCopy ScanStation™ with a TWAIN interface

There is also a solution for license enforcement of the Connector.
