Document Locator Connector for eCopy ShareScan

With the Document Locator Connector for eCopy ShareScan from ColumbiaSoft, any eCopy-enabled digital copier or scanner can be used to securely scan paper documents directly into Document Locator repository folders. Using the eCopy touch screen and/or keyboard, users can designate destination folders, document properties (indexing), and scanning options. All scanned documents are full-text indexed and are available for retrieval using Document Locator's content search functions. User authentication can be enabled to ensure access only by authorized personnel and only to authorized repository locations.

For repetitive scanning operations, the Document Locator Connector for ShareScan can be configured for "one-button" scanning. For example, a single touch-screen button could be created to scan and store invoices into an "invoices" repository folder structure.

Document Locator Workflow can then automate subsequent document processing. Document Locator also works with eCopy Desktop to view, annotate, or change scanned documents. Get application compatibility information
